Arcgis For Mac
UConn students have the opportunity to install ArcGIS on their personal computer.

ArcGIS ProDll to c code converter free download. can be downloaded on the ArcGIS Online (AGOL) site. Instructions for downloading from the AGOL portal are here: https://s.uconn.edu/arcpro.
ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro are are different programs and you should check with your class or research group to figure out which version of ArcGIS you need.
There are several things you should know before using this software.
To run ArcGIS 10.x on an Apple Macintosh computer, the Mac must be set up to run Windows. Keep in mind that ESRI does NOT support ArcGIS for Mac, and that you can. ArcGIS Desktop is the key to realizing the advantage of location awareness. Collect and manage data, create professional maps, perform traditional and advanced spatial analysis, and solve real problems. ArcGIS is a Windows based program. It will not run in the MacOS, unless you are running some sort of Windows virtualization software (something like VirtualBox or VMWare Fusion or Parallels). If you do have a Mac, I recommend using ArcGIS on UConn AnyWare. You must authorize the software and this will require starting an ESRI Global User Account.
As @Aaron and @Vince said in the comments, no ArcGIS does not run on Mac OS X without some variation of Parallels/BootCamp. For further details see the link that @Aaron shared about current system requirements for ArcGIS Desktop (10.7.x) or the link that @Vince shared about running ArcPro on a Mac via BootCamp. To run ArcGIS 10.x on an Apple Macintosh computer, the Mac must be set up to run Windows. There are severals ways to do this, but they require one of two installation options. Option One: Create a dual-boot setup on your Mac, which allows you to boot into either Mac OS or Windows OS.

– ArcGIS is a Windows based program. It will not run in the MacOS, unless you are running some sort of Windows virtualization software (something like VirtualBox or VMWare Fusion or Parallels). If you do have a Mac, I recommend using ArcGIS on UConn AnyWare.
There are two alternatives for Mac users: Install and use QGIS, a free and open source software that has many of the same capabilities as ArcGIS. It is cross-platform and has a native Mac version. Install a Windows virtual machine on your Mac computer, then install ArcGIS in the virtual machine. You only need to do one of these things.
Updating your software:
ArcGIS Desktop 10.8.x (and newer): Run the Check for ArcGIS Desktop Updates utility from the Start > All Programs > ArcGIS menu.
ArcGIS Desktop 10.7.x (and older): Patches and Service Packs for ESRI products can be found at HERE.

Option Two: Create a virtual machine on your Mac, which allows you to run an installation of Windows OS in parallel with your existing Mac OS, and to switch from one to the other without booting into either one separately. Typical choices for the virtualization option are the licensed software Parallels or VMware.

ESRI has more information on these options here. When configuring Windows with any of these options, it is important the configuration meets the minimum system requirements for installing ArcGIS Pro.
